Places we live

We start to appreciate sunny days!! :)) It doesn’t feel like living in California anymore, definitely climate is changing. Or … is it soooo big difference between San Carlos hills and Woodside? If yes – it’s amazing…just 10 miles away. Love it.

I really believe that a human being would have most peaceful and comfortable feelings being in places which look similar to that he or she lived in the childhood. When I was a child I lived in woods, near Moscow. The place name is Dubna, 75 miles from Moscow. It is very special place for me. My roots are there, I feel it through all my life.  Interestingly, it looks very similar to place I live now. May be because of that it feels so much homey right now, in Woodside?  See, it is my home street in Dubna’s woods on a picture above.

When I was younger, I thought I would love to live on a beach – I was wrong…

OK, I am leaving to continue creating a soulmate for my creepy mystic Venetian.:)

Love,

Lena.

Lenka, nice site! Can you add a photo or two of your woodside place - next to the picture of Dubna? Just to compare one with another...
